About the Author

I was born and raised and schooled in Fleetwood Lancashire. After leaving at 16 I did a four year apprenticeship as a welder. The following years took me through marriage, children and grandchildren. I traveled as a contractor on and off for most of my working life. I worked around the UK on shore and offshore. I worked in Europe and a few stints in North and western Africa, which was enjoyable apart from getting malaria. I have been writing stories for approximately 15 years. I dream of children around the world enjoying my stories putting a smile on lots of faces. I now drive a taxi cab and think of many more stories to add to the ones I have already written.
