Q – Why can’t I see the video playing? (On demand)

A – This could be down to a number of reasons. The most common reason why people experience issues is down to the browser they are using. Internet Explorer is no longer updated which means that it does not support most content, we would instead recommend using browsers such as Google Chrome, Edge or Firefox to name a few.

If you are still unable to view then this could be down to either a Firewall that is in place or it could be a connection issue. Firewalls can be removed by your I.T manager. If it is down to your connection then you will have to speak to your internet provider.

Q – How do I know if I will be able to view a live broadcast?

A – You can now check if your device will have the capabilities to view a live broadcast by simply watching the video that is playing on our homepage. If you can see the video playing then you are ready to watch a live broadcast!

Q – How can I receive information on future broadcasts and events?

A – To stay up to date with us simply click on the ‘join us’ tab on the top of the page. We will remember your details so you will able to view videos and register for events without having to re-enter your personal information.

Q – What can I do if I’ve missed a Live broadcast?

A – No need to worry! All of our Live broadcasts are recorded which means that they will become available to view On Demand within a couple of days of the initial broadcast.

Q – How can I ask the panel a question?

A – Simply type your question where it says ‘type here’ located on the right hand side of the screen under ‘LIVE CHAT’.

Q – Why can’t I see the chat box?

A – Again, this could be down to what browser you are using (see why can’t I see the video playing?) or if you are trying to view the video full screen.

Q – Why has the video stopped playing halfway through?

A – This will be most likely down to your internet connection. Pressing F5 will refresh the page which can sometimes help or you could try pausing the video, allowing it time to buffer, before attempting to press play again. If you are trying to view a live broadcast then this will almost always be down to your internet connection.

Q – Do I have to pay to use these resources?

A – All of our resources are completely free to educational establishments!
